Hackney Half 2024

About the race
With live bands and DJ’s marking every mile of this half marathon, and huge Hackney crowds cheering you on at every turn, it’s hard to complete the course without a great big grin on your face. Despite being just a few years old, the Hackney Half is quickly becoming one of the UK’s trendiest races, and you’ll be joining 20,000 fellow runners in some of London’s iconic green spaces – including the Queen Elizabeth Park.
The route
This course shows off the best of the borough, skating around Hackney Downs and the Hackney Empire as well as gorgeous parks and greenery. This route is easy on the legs, too, with flat roads leading down to the finish line at Hackney Marshes – where you’ll find a full-on festival of fitness waiting for you (don’t worry, there’s plenty of local beers, food and entertainment too).
