Christmas gift ideas to support MQ

by | 20 Nov 2020

The autumn leaves have fallen from the trees, the festive adverts have been blaring away on the TV since 1st November, and your keen bean neighbour has already put up their Christmas tree. It’s not *quite* beginning to look a lot like Christmas, but we’re getting there.

At MQ, we’re proud as punch that so many businesses are supporting mental health research by selling charity products. We thought we would feature a few of our charity Christmas gift ideas for you to add to your wish list this year, or to buy for a loved one.

Chrismas Cards from Tory Mabey

So we probably won’t be able to see as many friends or extended family this year, but it doesn’t mean we can’t spread some Christmas cheer with festive cards?

Tory Mabey is a graphic designer and illustrator based in London.

Tory said: “These festive cards celebrate our favourite pet pals. Pets have an amazingly positive effect on our mental wellbeing as a source of comfort, companionship and motivation. They have no doubt played an especially important role during the pandemic.

Tory is generously donating all profits from these cards to support mental health research, so get your order in quick as these are bound to sell out!

Don’t Stop Sunglasses by Gemma Styles for Kenmark Eyeware

Don't Stop caramel sunglasses from Gemma Styles for Kenmark Eyeware

MQ Ambassador and good influencer Gemma Styles is supporting MQ with her ‘Don’t Stop’ sunglasses from Kenmark Eyeware. Gemma said:

“Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow, don’t stop, it’ll soon be here.” 10% of proceeds from the Find The Light special edition pair will be donated to mental health research, a cause which is close to my heart. As much as we need intervention and support for people with mental health issues, we also need to understand why these issues happen in order to treat them most effectively and eventually prevent them.

“Oversized sunglasses are an absolute staple, the proportions of these work really nicely and I love the colours. Caramel is such a lovely warm neutral and the dark tortoiseshell is perfect for all year round.’
