MQ is an award-winning mental health research charity. We invest in scientific research all around the world, helping to create a future where mental illnesses are understood, effectively treated and one day prevented.
Our scientists investigate a huge range of issues: depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, eating disorders and more. We are bringing together everything from cutting-edge neuroscience to social studies to find the answers we need.
Our approach is international, interdisciplinary and collaborative. By connecting a community of supporters with a world-class network of experts, we are bringing real change to the millions of people affected by mental illness.

In this time, we've raised around £20,000 through sales of our Wellbeing cards and gifts to help facilitate MQ's research to further understand mental health. We're all so aware of how vital having positive mental health is, and supporting MQ's research remains an important priority for us.

Case study – Deutsche Bank
 MQ was chosen by Deutsche Bank employees to be its UK Charity of the Year 2022-2023. Working together, we raised over £2 million, engaging thousands of employees with a diverse and varied calendar of fundraising events including international treks, a bespoke Dragon Boat Race and a divisional fundraising ball.
Outside of fundraising, we worked in partnership to deliver wellbeing initiatives for the bank’s employees, from manager training sessions to webinars and workshops on chosen mental health topics with our community of researchers and ambassadors.
