Transforming Mental Health Through Research
You can help fund research that leads to better treatments, better support and faster diagnoses for everyone affected by mental illnesses. This benefits the entire future of mental health — and that benefits us all.
What We Do
Here at MQ our vision is simple, to create a world where mental illness is understood, effectively treated and ultimately prevented. We aim to raise money and support mental health research, because without research it's just guess work.
The Importance of Mental Health Research
Without research, it's just guesswork..

Underfunding
Mental health research has been historically underfunded. In fact, just £9 is spent on research per person affected by mental illness compared to £228 spent on oncology research per person affected by cancer.

Early Intervention
Through research, we can better understand, treat and even prevent mental illnesses from worsening or even from developing in the first place.

Mental Health Prevalence
Up to 1 in 4 people in the UK are impacted by a mental health illness each year, meaning millions of people are are in need of help.
