Investigating brain waves and attention in schizophrenia

This study run by the University of Glasgow is looking for participants to look at the relationship between brain waves and attention in schizophrenia and the effects of brain stimulation. This will help to see if cognition and brain function can improve in people with schizophrenia.

The study will involve 5 visits of around 2 hours over 2 month, including a clinical interview and brain imaging.

Details:

We are looking for:

Participants, who:

  • are between 18 and 55 years old
  • have been diagnosed with schizophrenia
  • are on stable antipsychotic medication

Location:

  • Scotland

Expenses:

Participants will receive reimbursement for reasonable travel expenses and a participation fee of around £6 per hour.
