This University of Reading study is looking to understand parents' experiences of parenting a child with obsessive compulsive symptoms/disorder (OCD), and to understand parents' views towards parents being involved in treatment for their child.
This study will involve parents completing a short screening questionnaire, to confirm they are eligible to take part in the study. This will take between 10 and 25 minutes to complete and will ask you general questions about you, your child, and your child's OCD. If parents are eligible to take part, they may be invited to take part in an interview, lasting approximately 45 minutes. This interview will ask you questions about your experiences of parenting you child, and your views towards parents being involved in treatment for children with OCD. These interviews will take place either by telephone, Skype or in person at the University of Reading or at the participant's home.
