MQ: Transforming Mental Health is a registered charity in England and Wales (number 1139916) and a company limited by guarantee registered in England and Wales under number 7406055 . Our registered office is at Unit B Aperture House, 6 Honduras Street, London, EC1Y 0TH.
1.3 “the Website” means any website under the ownership or control of MQ: Transforming Mental Health;
1.4 “the Material” means all of the information, data, text, graphics, images, links or computer code published on, contained in or available on the Website;
1.5 “User” means any individual, firm, company or organisation accessing this website or making an Order;

Users are solely responsible for any Order or information transmitted by means of e-mail or other Internet links and any losses incurred or sustained during such transmissions.

10. Viruses

10.1 Whilst MQ: Transforming Mental Health makes all reasonable attempts to exclude viruses from the website it cannot ensure such exclusion and no liability is accepted for damage caused through the downloading of viruses. It is strongly recommended that Users take all appropriate safeguards before downloading information or Material from the Website.

11. Force majeure

13. Jurisdiction

13.1 Use of the Website and these terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties hereby agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts in all disputes arising out of or relating to the Website and/or any transactions made on the Website, or these terms and conditions.

14. Donations and refunds

14.1 Donations will be used to further MQ Mental health Research's charitable objectives.
14.2 MQ complies with the legal and best practice regulations as set by the Charity Commission, Fundraising regulator and the Chartered Institute of Fundraising.
14.3 All donations MQ receives (Including registration fees for challenge events) are treated as irrevocable gifts and as such are non-refundable unless exceptional circumstances apply.
14.4 Exceptional circumstances may include, but are not limited to: donations made in error to MQ, suspected fraud, or the cancelation of a challenge event. In these instances a refund may be issued at MQ's discretion. MQ reserves the right to seek advice from the Charity Commission.
14.5 In the event of a refund being agreed in part or in whole this will be subject to bank and processing fees.

14.6 Any request for a refund must be made in writing within 7 days of the donation being received.
