The Lord Mayor’s Appeal and MQ Mental Health Research
MQ is delighted to have been selected as a charity partner of The Lord Mayor’s Appeal. As part of our partnership, we are calling on you to get hands on with research by taking part in a study via our Participate platform.
Robust research relies on participation, yet currently just 2% of people with a mental illness are involved in NHS-funded research compared to 20% of cancer patients. In addition, many demographics continue to be underrepresented in clinical trials and other forms of research.
MQ’s former Participate platform linked up researchers across the UK with potential study participants. You can be part of the movement to transform mental health, whilst potentially gaining access to new treatments and therapies that could improve your own mental health.
