Last week, we held an MQ Open Mind webinar to introduce our three newest Fellows. We're proud to be funding researchers who are helping us edge closer towards a brighter future for mental health. All three of the new research projects we are funding this year focus on the mental health of children and young people, but each have their own, unique angle.
- Dr Ruchika Gajwani will test a pilot intervention for young people with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
- Dr Katie Young is looking at youth anxiety and depression during and after the COVID19 pandemic
- Dr Mark Taylor is investigating the causes and consequences of mental ill-health for young people with autism.
We were also joined by Dr Ethel Nakimuli-Mpungu, one of our first-ever Fellows to talk about the successes of her MQ funded-research.
If you are interested in young people's mental health or want to learn more about anxiety, depression, BPD, or the relationship between autism and mental health then you'll enjoy this webinar - there are plenty of fascinating insights from our new MQ Fellows.
