MQ has invested over £23million into ground-breaking mental health research.
Our vision is a world where mental conditions are understood, treated and eventually, prevented. We do this through launching research across the translational spectrum, putting impact at the heart of all we do. Since 2013, we’ve invested over £23m into more than 40 research projects across the world.
Mental health research is constrained by the scale of the workforce, with an urgent need to increase its size and diversity. Since MQ’s inception, we have been answering this need by building capacity in the sector, particularly through our flagship Fellows Award Programme, specifically designed to support early-career researchers. Now in our 10th year, MQ is proud to be expanding our funding programmes and opening two new grant options.
